Berlin 2025 speakers

We’re excited to announce the lineup of speakers and talks for our Berlin 2025 conference! A huge thank you to everyone who submitted a proposal—this conference wouldn’t be possible without your contributions.

Each year, we curate a diverse range of voices to share insights from our community. As the role of “documentarian” varies greatly among us, we aim for topics that cover practical, philosophical, and technical ideas, with a touch of whimsy for good measure:

  • Michiel Mulders: Developer Experience in Technical Writing: 15 Practical Tips to Boost Developer Satisfaction

  • Stephan Delbos: Activating Product Knowledge: Where Global Education Meets Documentation

  • Ian Cowley: If you build it, they will come: Our journey to a unified (and discoverable) documentation platform

  • Tiffany Hrabusa: A beautiful reciprocal arrangement: Gaining experience and giving back through open source documentation

  • Dimple Poojary: Automating Documentation Maintenance Workflow Process for Agile Teams

  • Val Grimm: Portable docs for data sovereignty

  • Jennifer Rondeau: What’s past is prologue: Write the Docs, communities, and organizing techcomm

  • Diana Breza: Rethinking your how-tos: From instructions to solving user problems

  • Powen Shiah: Documenting Digital Infrastructure: Explaining Complex Open Source Technologies for Everyone

  • Maximilian Rosin: “Gyarados has pretty teeth, dear”: Theatre, Pokémon, and software docs
